Thank you for listening, sharing, and supporting our artists this year - a year where that became more important than ever. 2020 has been nothing we could have imagined, and it surely has not been easy, but we are proud to work with an amazing group of people who used their voices and platforms this year to not only share some incredible art, but also support others. We can't wait to catch a live show with you again.
In 2020, we had 4 new additions to the Mom+Pop family, released 6 full-length albums, many remixes and countless singles, with a few unexpected collaborations along the way. Our artists spoke out about issues affecting our country and our planet, got out the vote, and helped raise hundreds of thousands of dollars. Read along below for our year in review.
2020 New Signings + Releases
This year we were thrilled to welcome Porter Robinson, Maya Hawke, Evann McIntosh and Frances Forever to the Mom+Pop family. It’s been an incredible honor to join these artists’ teams and help them grow. From Maya Hawke’s debut Blush, to Evann McIntosh’s dynamic follow-up singles to MOJO, to Porter Robinson’s new music leading up to his next album Nurture, and Frances Forever’s “Space Girl,” we are so proud to be on this journey with them.
We’re happy to share a few remarkable highlights from this unpredictable year. In February, Ashe’s “Moral of the Story” was introduced to a huge audience with a feature in Netflix’s To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You. All year, the song has continued to take off. After releasing a new version featuring Niall Horan over the summer, the track climbed to Top 10 at Alt Radio and Top 25 at Pop Radio. Beach Bunny’s debut LP Honeymoon was highlighted as one of the best albums of the year by the New York Times, LA Times, Rolling Stone, and more. Caamp’s newest track “Officer of Love” is climbing its way up the radio charts, currently at #1 on the BDS AAA Chart and had a Top 3 debut on the Mediabase AAA Chart!
In 2020, we released albums from Beach Bunny - Honeymoon, Orion Sun - Hold Space For Me, Alina Baraz - It Was Divine, and Maya Hawke - Blush, plus albums Tycho - Simulcast and Hinds - The Prettiest Curse. With an EP from Hotel Garuda, a project debut from tiger lili, and singles from Caamp, Ashe, Sunflower Bean, Lucius, Jai Wolf, Tash Sultana, Raffaella, FKJ, and more - it’s been quite the year.

Artist Initiatives + Organizations to Support
This year, community has been more meaningful than ever. All of our artists worked to support causes they care about, from spreading awareness to raising money for organizations doing important work. To name a few, Porter Robinson’s Secret Sky Festival raised $66K+ for MusiCares, an organization providing COVID-19 relief to music people in need. Orion Sun shared her own experience with police brutality in a song this summer and donated all of the $12K+ proceeds to Breonna Taylor’s family and The Loveland Foundation. Courtney Barnett joined Lucius in supporting Oxfam and local LA businesses with a livestream series. Evann McIntosh has hosted rallies in their hometown and raised funds for The Ally Coalition and Human Kind Witchita. Hinds and Beach Bunny have donated merch proceeds, and Alina Baraz and Ashe released donation-based performances to various human rights organizations throughout the year.
There are so many causes deserving of our support this year and always. Below we’ve highlighted a few incredible organizations and campaigns working to make things better in our industry: NIVA #SaveOurStages, #TheShowMustBePaused, MusiCares, and Bandcamp Fridays.
