Just in time for Earth Day and the kick off for his US tour, Goth Babe has announced he’s joined the Mom+Pop Music fam and shared his newest single “Alone in the Mountains”. Founded by former Tennessean Griff Washburn, Goth Babe is Griff just enjoying himself. Whether living with his dog Sadie in his former tiny home, a campervan or his current 38 foot off-grid sailboat named LOLA, Griff, along with his mobile studio, has been able to incorporate his love for a nomadic life, the outdoors and giving back to the environment, with his talent at making perfectly crafted, joyful indie/electronic music with no restraints.
The outdoors and conservation have played an important part in Goth Babe’s life and career as a musician, so sharing new music on Earth day is especially poignant for Washburn. One of the causes he holds near and dear is Conservation Lands Foundation, an organization that protects public and native lands in America. Last year he launched a vinyl and merch to donate to the organization. For this year he started a petition asking fans to help protect the public and native lands of Avi Kwa Ame aka Spirit Mountain in southern Nevada (506K acres). Just last week he shared that over 1,000 signatures were received and Biden officially signed to protect the land under The Antiquities Act making it a national monument and protected land.
