On February 22nd, Bayonne dropped his sophomore album, Drastic Measures. This record is essentially a reflection of Bayonne’s life on and off the road over the last few years. "Drastic Measures," according to Bayonne, refers to the huge risks and sacrifices involved with pursuing music and touring as a career. “It sometimes feels isolating, chaotic, & unhealthy, but we still do it. I would often feel like I wasn't keeping in touch with friends, family, and home life in general. Under this theme, the songs differ in emotional content. Some songs are about relationships that have been broken, others about mental health. It really just comes down to the balance between home life and tour life and the struggles that inevitably interweave in-between the two.”
Bayonne will also be heading out on a Drastic Measures Tour this spring with a string of shows in Europe and the UK and then he will be heading back to the States to wrap up a string of shows here. Check out the tour dates below!
Ahead of the release of the record, Bayonne released singles for the title track “Drastic Measures,” “Uncertainly Deranged,” and “Same.” “Drastic Measures” was released with a beautiful music video directed by Ruffmercy and “Uncertainly Deranged” was released with an official lyric video.
