As our 10 Year celebration comes to a close, we're looking forward to the next 10 years and the new artists that will be leading the way. Today, we’re excited to announce the next artist to join Mom + Pop, FKJ!
FKJ - aka French Kiwi Juice - is a French producer, singer, and multi-instrumentalist who is known for his smooth piano tracks with a modern jazz production that features funky bass lines, tight guitar riffs, and effortless transitions between genres. You may know him from hit tracks with artists like Masego, Tom Misch, and ((( O ))), or his own releases like Time for a Change EP, Take Off EP and debut album French Kiwi Juice.
Today, FKJ joins the with Mom + Pop family with the release of his first single "Is Magic Gone." The release comes on the heels of his freshly announced 2019 World Tour that will include a 26-date run in the United States. FKJ spoke to us about the new track saying, "This one was written on the bus while touring the US. It was during winter 2017 on the east coast...We were driving by night and everyone was sleeping. It was a strong emotional time for me... I was going thru some stuff. I had my instruments set up at the back of the bus and made this song that night. It was like a therapy and it really instantly healed me.”
