The Bean is back! Sunflower Bean just announced that they will be following up their critically acclaimed sophomore album Twentytwo In Blue from earlier this year, with a new EP titled King Of The Dudes out January 25th. The announce of the EP comes with the launch of the Pre-Order and the first single, “Come For Me.” The track premiered today via BBC Radio 1 Annie Mac’s “Hottest Record In The World”in the UK and Rolling Stone in the US.
Sunflower Bean began recording King Of The Dudes this past summer in Los Angeles following the release of Twentytwo in Blue earlier this year. The band explains, “This EP does not give a fuck. It’s reactionary, and a sharpened response to our times. Death, birth, aggression, addiction, and power. Twentytwo In Blue allowed us to find our strength and on King Of The Dudes we use it, no holds barred.”
