Mutual Benefit's new album Skip a Sinking Stone is on its way. We have already heard the first two singles, "Not For Nothing" and "Lost Dreamers." Today, NPR gives us a sneak peak of the album closer, "The Hereafter," on All Songs Considered. In the episode, we learn that Mutual Benefit's Jordan Lee was inspired to make the track after "falling in love" with the guhzeng, a Chinese instrument similar to a zither.

The result is a beautiful zen-like sound that echoes the album's thematic thread: finding peace in a tangled world.

Listen to the track and hear what NPR has to say about it below (commentary starts at the 24:40 minute mark). Also, be sure to pre-order your copy of Skip a Sinking Stone here.
