Tegan and Sara have shared another new track from their forthcoming 10th studio album, Crybaby, due Oct. 21. “Faded Like a Feeling” is a stunning ballad about the mysterious ebbs and flows of love and relationships.
The official video, directed by Mark Myers, finds the twins singing together while perched on the swings at a waterfront playground.
“Faded Like a Feeling” follows previously released singles “Fucking Up What Matters” and the sweet, anthemic “Yellow.” Tegan and Sara will perform “Yellow” and sit for a talk segment on the Sept. 7 episode of NBC’s Late Night with Seth Meyers.
"It’s impossible not to tap your feet and bop around a little when Tegan and Sara’s newest single “F*****g Up What Matters” comes on. It’s about getting everything you want and suddenly needing to destroy it all—and finding growth within that fresh start." - Teen Vogue
"’Yellow’ is a dreamy pop tune that balances bits of bubblegum with heart-on-sleeve sincerity" - Rolling Stone
There’s also big news about the duo’s Amazon Freevee series High School, which is based on the twins’ critically acclaimed, New York Times-bestselling memoir of the same name. Co-created and executive produced by Tegan and Sara Quin and Clea DuVall, who also features as a director on select episodes, the show will debut its first three episodes Sept. 10 at the Toronto Film Festival, ahead of its Oct. 14 debut on Amazon Freevee.
Shot in Calgary and produced by Plan B Entertainment and Amazon Studios, High School stars TikTok creators and TV newcomers Railey and Seazynn Gilliland, portraying the high school versions of Tegan and Sara. Special guest stars Cobie Smulders and Kyle Bornheimer will play the twins’ parents.
