tiger lili is the singer-songwriter/producer project of American songwriter Lili Trifilio. The project aims to dismantle the need for genre conformity through it’s ever-adapting nature. The intention of the project is self-expression, collaboration, and artistic freedom. Although the project may not necessarily be experimental in sound, the project will encompass an umbrella of different genres, styles, and influences. This means that each work may be written in a different style, or each body of work may focus on a specific genre. Some tracks may be collaborative and involve production help, some may be independently produced by Trifilio.

tiger lili is designed to be a project that changes in style, that changes in aesthetic, and that does not limit itself to a specific sound or branding. In Lili’s words “As a fan of many genres, I want to have the freedom to explore songwriting in all forms. I cannot predict what stylistic choices I will make in the future, but I am certain that whatever I release, that I will only put my best work forward. Art is limitless and I choose to write without limitations.”
